Excerpts: 'Raja Shiv Chhatrapati' is being re-telecast nearly after 8 years. How do you feel? It makes me nostalgic. In fact, it laid the foundation of my career and gave me recognition. But I feel that the new horizon is inviting me and this is the right time to strike with the talent, gained with experience, because history does not evolve automatically and one has to create it with courage.

You have also acted in TV serial 'Veer Shivaji' and a film 'Rajmata Jijau'. Your face resembles Chhatrapati Shivaji. What is the secret?

On the other hand, police had registered a case against Nithyananda for allegedly mixing drugs in holy water, which was given to his devotees. In other case, Nithyananda’s former devotee Aarathi Rao has lodged a complaint that she was sexually harassed by him for years. What did they do in that time? Hd video songs telugu. It’s really surprising that there are still people who believe that Nithyananda is godly figure who can make their lives happy. How can Nithyananda justify this immoral acts!

(Laughs) The credit must be given to my parents and then certainly to the make-up artist Suhas Gawte for making me look so close to Maharaj. I also feel that if you portray a character with total conviction, looks are taken care of, since after all TV is a 'make believe' medium. Have you done any special research on the Maratha warrior? I had to work on physical, psychological and intellectual aspects, which included physique, to pick up skills like horse riding, sword fighting etc. To understand the point of view of historians and writers, I read all possible literature on Shivaji. I always kept in mind that I am only an actor playing an iconic character and I should not get carried away by the persona of the character.
