Good Traffic Freeware For Fs2004 Project
FS2004 Addons Razgr1z912 Captain. I find those a good starting point. My Traffic X for FSX and FS2004?
Hey there, I guess this topic is a never ending story for all flight simmers. My first AI Traffics were WOAI, which were quite good, but I missed some airlines or recent flight plans. The one I use till today is ICE AI, but just found out that they are somehow model and flightplan rippers? I like ICE AI veeeery much because I have really nice models, nearly all Airlines in the world with latest liveries (WOAI and MyTraffic X still had the bordeaux red air berlin, which was unbearable for me) and latest flight plans for many airlines. As I recently got myself a new PC I was considering to go over to payware, but stll I found that either I will have bad models, or airlines missing (e.g UT2 does not have cargo like I read in several forums and latest MyTraffic still has s***ty models) SOOOO, the BIG QUESTION is: Is there ANY ai software that gives me: - HQ Models (best would be with original sound) - latest liveries and flght plans - General Aviation Traffic - Military Traffic (not necasserely) - the opportunity to update and customize????
I would pay ANY price to see that accomplished. But until then I stay with my 'corrupt' ICE AI •. I used MyTraffic, by a Mr. Burkhard Renk. I've been using his MyTraffic series since 2008 and I have to admit that I LOOOOVE IT. The models might not be super high quality, but where they lack quality they gain in sheer numbers.
It generates traffic automatically at all airports around the world (unlike WOAI where you must download packages). I also get to talk to him one on one in the SimFlight forums for any questions I may have. He has recently put out the newest version, MyTraffic 6, which can be bought here.

I love WOAI it runs smooth and dosent crash my FSX on aproach after a five hour flight. But all in all WOIA takes a bit of work but the final product in flawless. Like I have all of the REX enhancement packages like World Airports and a ton of FSDT scenery and GSX and I get like 35fps on the ground in the PMDG 777 and even more in the 737.
It also dosent take much work to add and take away traffic. In all if you love FSX WOAI is the best to keep your frame rate good and look good. I guess you weren't aware that there's a function in the product that allows for low packet models, specifically made to be easier on your Sim. UT2 is pretty cool, FSX is just a simulator and not a game, but I like the realism of added traffic in the air, plus it's pretty cool when you are landing at a busy airport, the one thing that does annoy me is that ATC is not scripted to handle traffic in a 'realistic' way so be prepared for the odd occasion of finding yourself a little over a mile behind another aircraft on final approach, pretty stressful however, I guess having to abort landing and go around adds a bit of fun to the simulation! Here is a little video of an ILS landing in poor weather conditions that I uploaded last year, with UT2 add-on running. I use sky ai.
The one thing I hated about woai is that I could not run ga traffic add-ons with it. Not going to stop anyone doing as they wish, but Sky AI and other freeware products which are similar are illegal, since most if not all, do not have the permissions for the authors of the AI aircraft and liveries to put them within a package and made available to the FS community. I was going to suggest, but again, each to their own, why do you not try to instead install each airlines manually into FSX/P3D and thus, have far more control of the AI aircraft and liveries available, since there is some talented people that make great liveries and aircraft for everyone to enjoy within the FSX and P3D skies (let alone some of the scenery makers).
