Forum: → → Understanding the Vanity Pack A few members and frequent posters have been wondering the logistics of smilingfrog's 'Vanity pack'. The pack consists of 25 previously un-drivable vehicles, Sponsor vehicles, A few bike fixes and a few community liveries.

The pack contains a few vehicles such as the and un-driveable vehicles such as a limo, dump truck and crane flatbed truck. Krishna rukmini kannada serial actress name images. Those who haven't seen these within Burnout Paradise are those who haven't hacked the game's code as these vehicles are apart of Renderware. Renderware as many know has been the game engine behind the Burnout series and many other games such as the Grand Theft Auto series and most recently the Crackdown series.

The engine itself was once a 'Middleware' engine which means that it can be used as a package for other developers. As an example, imagine Renderware as a Lego set, It comes with a lego man, lego car, lego building and lego plain. You can rearrange this all you like with these assets and make a different game (Traffic vehicles in Burnout seen in NFS). You could use pieces from another lego set which is just blocks (Maya) and create your own assets and place them on the lego plain. Horoshij shrift dlya beguschej stroki.

The large trucks seen within the pack were most probably dropped due to their poor gameplay elements as vehicles this large may have cluttered streets making gameplay much more difficult or even disrupting other vehicles making it unplayable. Some vehicles can be seen in other EA games as some elements of Renderware have dissolved into EA's Open GL engine.

For example all of the un-drivable vehicles in Paradise can be seen in Need for Speed: Undercover and the coaches even have the same 'All LIVE' advert seen around Paradise city. The larger vehicles can be seen in Need for Speed: Carbon and one can even be driven online and offline. The pack itself is a fine piece of craftsmanship with its inclusion of Community liveries and un-drivable vehicles. However it is let down in some aspects due to missed opportunities such as the names for these vehicles, for example 'Boom Wagon' could have been called the 'Hunter Septic Avenger' or 'Lifter' could have been the 'Carson Ball Dropper.' Another aspect and an un-escapable one is the constant use of lolcat billboards which could be seen as a good inclusion except some are unreadable. - The Founder Of The Definitive Burnout Encyclopaedia - - Australian Eastern Standard Time (GMT+10) Good overview, i never really know what's going on with these mods. However is this illegal?

I'm pretty sure this kinda DLC could get you the ban-hammer if you get caught on Live with it? Anyway do we have a section and detailed pages on mods and hacks and stuff. We should have a template at the top of the page saying its a hack or mod, but its still Burnout, so we need it on here!
